DOCTORS
Dr. Kelsey Oakley
Veterinarian
Dr. Kelsey Oakley is a 2014 graduate of the University of Findlay where she majored in Animal Science/ Pre-Veterinary Sciences and Biology with a Chemistry minor. She then attended Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated with the class of 2018. She currently resides in Kenton on a small farm where she has a small herd of goats. She also has a band of beloved misfit dogs, many of whom she has rescued over the years.
Dr. Oakley enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as spending time on the farm. She also enjoys reading, baking, antiquing, and watching college football-especially the Iowa State Cyclones.

BRITTNEY P.
Practice Manager
Brittney's Bio
Brittney has been with the practice since 2016 and has been practice manager of the clinic since 2021 and is passionate about advocating for animals and educating clients on the best ways to care for their pets. She believes every pet deserves to be treated like family and takes pride in being a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.
Outside the clinic, Brittney enjoys exploring national parks, camping, crocheting, and other creative hobbies. She and her husband are also enjoying life as new parents to twins. During hockey season, you can usually find Brittney cheering on the Pittsburgh Penguins!
KAILEY V.
Customer Service Representative
Kailey's Bio
Kailey has been part of the veterinary field for over 5 years and is dedicated to providing excellent customer service to both pets and their families. She enjoys helping clients feel informed and confident when making decisions about their pet’s care.
When she’s away from the clinic, Kailey enjoys reading, video games, and road trips with her family.

Outside of work, Rowan enjoys quilting, painting, theater and musicals, reading, and spending time with her own animals.

Anjel's Bio
Anjel has been working in veterinary medicine for 3 years and is passionate about providing compassionate, empathetic care to every patient she meets. She believes in treating each pet like her own while helping clients feel supported and informed throughout their visit. Anjel especially enjoys educating clients about their pets and continuing to grow her veterinary skills every day.
Outside of work, Anjel enjoys spending time with her cats, gardening, reading books, fishing, hiking, and making memories with her husband.

DR. CAROL OATES
Veterinarian
Dr. Carol Oates purchased this veterinary clinic from a local veterinarian, Dr. Curtis, in 1971 upon her graduation from The Ohio State University. The hospital was much smaller than and has had two significant expansions throughout the years, the last being in 1998. Dr. Carol’s husband, Gary, a local farmer with a degree in dairy science (The Ohio State University 67), helps ensure everything is in proper working order at the clinic.
Carol is originally from Fairborn, Ohio (near the Dayton area) but has lived in Kenton since 1971. She and Gary enjoy being in the great outdoors. Carol has several hobbies. In particular, she enjoys harvesting maple syrup and tending her apiary (beehives) with her sister, Linda.
